Last June 18, YouTube announced the new version of YouTube Red and extension of YouTube Music in 12 new countries.
According to the announcement, the new YouTube Premium, formerly known as YouTube Red, includes benefits for its members such as Music Premium, plus ad-free, background, downloads across all of YouTube, and access to watch YouTube Original shows and movies including the famous series Cobra Kai, Impulse, F2 Finding Football, and The Sidemen Show. YouTube gave a three month free service of the new feature. After three months, members will have to pay $11.99 per month and for the YouTube Music Premium $9.99 per month.
The countries that have these two features are the U.S, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, South Korea, Austria, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
The company added that all Google Play Music users in the selected countries will automatically have access to YouTube Music Premium with the same price of their registered plan.
