For those who aren’t familiar, Google Duo is a video chat app as a riff on Apple’s Facetime. It released around two years ago and has been received warmly by users, and its developers has been working to improve it ever since. And one of their improvements comes today as they announced a feature that we haven’t seen from Facetime: video and voicemail. Users of the app can now leave voice or video messages up to 30 seconds to those who miss or decline their call. The messages automatically delete after a day, but users can download them just in case.
Google announced that the feature will be available to users in both Android and iOS worldwide this week.
