Yandex revealed their new service, Yandex.Plus where customers will pay for a monthly fee and their first hardware called Yandex.Station.
Yandex.Plus is a service that is modeled on Amazon and the fee starts at 169 Roubles every month. Yandex.Station, a smart speaker that features a Russian language assistant named Alice. The services include features such as Yandex.Music, where users can play music, Yandex.Disk, a storage device, and Yandex.Taxi, a transportation service.
According to the Director of Experimental Products at Yandex, Konstantin Kruglov, Alice is an intelligent assistant that gives unique options for audio and video streaming, and high quality of sounds. Alice was built to support advance conversational skills and understanding in communicating with users and can manage tasks through the Yandex services. Yandex.Station has features such as two 20mm 10W tweeter drivers, one 85mm 30W woofer driver, and two 95mm passive radiators. It is Bluetooth-compatible and measures 14х14х23cm. Total system power: 50W. Frequency range: 50-20,000Hz. Signal-to-noise ratio: 96dB.
Yandex.Station price starts at 9,990 Roubles and will be available in the summer. The company said that it is only available in the Russia.
