Xiaomi unveiled its upcoming transparent smartphone that will include a seven-piece lens with 49MP for the main camera and f/1.47.
According to the post of CEO Lei Jun to his Weibo account, the back of the upcoming Xiaomi 9 Transparent Edition has a 0.4mm thick that can also be converted to four sheets of A4 paper. Xiaomi uses the 0.33mm ultra-thin aluminum sheet for the transparent version. The materials that have been used for the Mi 9 new edition is a gradient glass. CEO Jun added, “In the CNC shape on the 0.3mm aluminum sheet, the available milling cutter is only 0.2-0.3mm, just like the “micro-carving creation” with the embroidery needle, slowly making a sense of texture and 3D. At the same time, this piece of aluminum has a heat dissipation effect.”
The upcoming Mi 9 Transparent version will also have a large memory which will have 12GB of RAM. The company has not yet announced the specs of the phone.
