Xiaomi has unveiled its second smart speaker in India. With the launch of this smart speaker, Xiaomi has also expanded its portfolio of smart home appliances. Xiaomi had previously launched the Xiaomi Mi Smart Speaker with Google Assistant. They launched it last year around the month of October. This is definitely a more updated version of the previously launched Smart Speaker. It also comes with IR control, a smart home control center, a balanced sound field, an LED clock display, and much more. The speaker includes a built-in smart voice assistant as well as Bluetooth 5.0. It has a 1.5-inch mono speaker that delivers a powerful performance.
Specifications:
The new Xiaomi Smart Speaker with IR Control sports a 1.5-inch display. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that this speaker has been beautifully and thoughtfully crafted, with the inclusion of an LED display with adaptive brightness that adjusts automatically to match the light in the room.
Along with that, it has a large LED digital clock display. Users can also use the speaker as a desk click with this functionality. Furthermore, the clock has a DND mode that completely hides the time when you are sleeping.
Another feature that facilitates voice wake-up is the use of far-field microphones. The speaker also has the ability to connect a second speaker to the device to produce stereo sound. When setting the alarm, the smart speaker can choose to play their favourite songs, singers, genres, and scenes.
The Xiaomi Smart Speaker is truly a “Smart Speaker” in a way that it includes an IR control, which is a voice remote control for home appliances that breathes new life into non-smart devices. The speaker is compatible with Google Assistant, allowing users to connect the device to the Xiaomi Home App, followed by the Google Home app, to create a smart home experience.
