Xiaomi is bringing an exciting update called HyperOS to many of its devices in India. During a recent event, Xiaomi shared the list of devices that will receive this update. HyperOS has already arrived on seven devices like the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 6, and now it’s expanding to even more gadgets.
Over 26 Xiaomi devices in India will get the HyperOS update. This includes not only newer models like the Xiaomi 11 Ultra but also some older ones like the Mi 10, which came out in 2020. This move shows Xiaomi’s commitment to supporting its products for a long time.
In the past, Xiaomi used to update older devices with MIUI, which is its custom version of Android. However, it’s not clear if the HyperOS update for older phones will be based on the latest Android version, Android 14, like the newer devices are.

Excitingly, some of the latest Xiaomi devices, like the Redmi Note 13 5G series and the Xiaomi 12 Pro, will also receive the HyperOS update soon. This update will introduce new features like a customizable lock screen and AI enhancements in the gallery app. Plus, HyperOS is designed to be lighter than MIUI, so it won’t take up as much storage space on your phone.
