It appears that the vanilla version of the Xiaomi 14 will be the primary focus for Indian consumers, as hinted by teasers shared by Xiaomi. This means that the more advanced Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Pro variants may not be available in India initially.
Now, let’s delve into the specifications of the Xiaomi 14. In China, this smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It features a 6.36-inch LTPO display with a high resolution and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth and crisp visuals. The Indian variant is expected to offer similar specifications, including up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
Xiaomi has partnered with Leica to enhance the camera capabilities of the Xiaomi 14. The Chinese variant boasts a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a Summilux lens. Additionally, it houses a 50-megapixel telephoto camera and another 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, promising stunning photos in various scenarios. Not to forget, the handset comes with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
In terms of battery, the Xiaomi 14 packs a 4,610mAh battery, supporting lightning-fast 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. This means you can spend less time tethered to a charger and more time enjoying your device on the go.
With its powerful performance, impressive camera setup, and fast charging capabilities, the Xiaomi 14 is poised to make waves in the Indian smartphone market. Stay tuned for more updates as we await its arrival on March 7th!
