WordPress added a new artificial intelligence tool for the self-hosted wordpress sites on Tuesday. This tool named as the Write Brief with AI was launched by the parent company of WordPress named Automattic.
WordPress Gets a New AI Tool
WordPress introduces the AI-powered writing tool, Write Brief with AI which was internally called ‘Breve’ (which is Latin for brief), through announcing it in a blog post. In the blog, it was stated, “Write Brief with AI works right within the WordPress editor, handling blocks, nested blocks, patterns, and more. It’s an editing tool built to streamline your writing process directly in your familiar workspace. Write, edit, blog, directly from WordPress. Simply click the Jetpack icon on the top right of your screen, and Write Brief with AI will get to work based on what’s checked or unchecked in the sidebar.”
The AI tool is available as a plugin for the self hosted WordPress sites through Jetpack. It can be found on the editor page next to the published button once added. This AI told words in four different ways to serve different functionalities. Firstly it can measure the readability of content with a grade score. Users can see which grade’s students can find the text readable in a side panel. Secondly the tool will be able to automatically flag sentences which are too long or too descriptive. Users will be able to check the sentences and improve them; however the AI tool will also offer suggestions. Thirdly, it also offers suggestions for complex words to replace them with simpler alternatives and finally the AI tool can also measure the confidence of a written text.
