Uber Eats announced via email about its upcoming new design and features that will help the customer to monitor their orders.
Uber’s new order-tracking feature has a new design that includes an update of the user’s order with the delivery car and container of the order. The new feature will let users see the real-time update of their order, including courier’s route so that users will be informed if their order is in preparation, delayed, or canceled. The app will inform users of the reasons why their order was delayed or canceled. Users will also have access to call the courier before the collection of their order for the assurance or additional.
According to Engadget, the new update is now available for Android, iOS, and web mobile in selected cities such as Miami, San Francisco, and Washington DC. The company confirmed that they are still working for the development of its app for customers in terms of reaching out their couriers through call or chat.
