Twitter was down for about 40 minutes this morning, causing a major outage for the social network. The service problems started around 8:05 am. ET and many users reported an “excess capacity” error message and even a “this page is down” error. The problems also affected Twitter’s website, mobile devices, and TweetDeck. Downdetector has had many problems with Twitter, but Twitter’s own status page states that “all settings are working”. After loading the original Twitter.com domain, many users were unable to log in to the service or access tweets. Twitter became active around 8:40 am. ET and many tweeters were able to regain access to the service. At 9:10 am ET, Twitter tweeted: “We’re working to get everyone back up and running.” Most people appeared to have already reconnected, and Twitter confirmed a full resolution by 12:37 a.m. ET, citing an unspecified problem with internal systems.
This is Twitter’s first major outage since a series of problems hit the social network in February. Twitter refused twice a week in February and users were unable to access the service in some areas of the United States because “technical error prevents loading and prevents tweets”.The latest Twitter services appeared a few days after forming a social network against Elon Mask, the richest man in the world. Mask is trying to deduce a purchase contract of $ 44 billion based on claims that Twitter could not satisfy information about plat and spam. Twitter tweeted and we’re back! We are experiencing issues with our internal systems that have affected many of you around the world. Twitter should work properly – sorry for the errors. Hence Twitter is back after a major outage.
