Twitter is focusing on machine learning tools improvement to determine and take action for the problem automatically. The company has scale of the positive impact of the new technology. They received reports that has total of approximately 25,000 per day in March and 17,000 per day in May. The company added that they suspended more than 142,000 applications that has been violated the rules of regulations of Twitter.
Twitter is still reducing the visibility of inappropriate accounts both in the app and metrics, improving the procedure in sign-up to the app, inspecting of existing accounts that has sign of spam, and developing of technologies that detect malicious behavior.
