On June 5, Apple will have its annual developer’s keynote, or WWDC, which might be exciting given that we anticipate the release of the company’s first mixed reality headset. An intriguing AR easter egg that was recently revealed appears to prove this.
Apple’s easter egg displays a shadow of the static Apple logo together with a moving Apple logo that regularly displays the date “June 5, 2023.” One can access the official Apple Events website on their iPhone or iPad to be a part of it. An option to “View the AR experience” will be visible. The morphing Apple logo may be rotated and its size adjusted.
Ross Young, a well-known display specialist, tweeted some intriguing details about the mixed-reality headgear, which served to heighten the anticipation. He claims that each of the Mirco OLED displays will have a diagonal measurement of 1.41 inches, 5000 nits of maximum brightness, and 4000 pixels per inch. Additionally, the headset will support HDR content, a concept none of its current rivals offer.
Additionally, it is speculated that the headset would employ xrOS, Apple’s proprietary mixed-reality operating system. In addition, the headgear is anticipated to include two chipsets and Mac-like processing capabilities. Additionally, a suitable app ecosystem will be included. But as of the right moment, nothing is certain. Waiting for formal information on this would be better because WWDC 2023 is only a few months away. A new MacBook Air might be unveiled, along with the upcoming versions of iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and other software. Stay tuned to learn more about this.
