Along with the announcement of the arrival of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Fold 4, Samsung released the previously teased – Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro on August 10th, 2022.
Some of its primary features include intelligent ANC, immersive sound, auto switch and battery life. These earbuds come with pro-grade technology which leads to high-quality immersive sound. Smart Automatic Noise Cancellation lets one switch between ANC and a fully pleasant sound.
Nobody likes an ill-fitted bud. Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro have a classic design to ensure a perfect fit so one can remain tuned in for hours on end. It stays securely in the ear groves, even during runs. The air vents effectively manage pressure in one’s ear for a good ear condition and longer wear time. Last but not the least, the buds come with three ear tip sizes to choose from so that the buds fit like a pro and ANC works the best.
These Samsung earbuds come with controllable noise cancellation. The ANC filters out 99% of the background noises. The microphones fitted on the inside and outside of the buds work in real-time data. The ANC can be dialled up or down as per one’s requirement and the smart algorithm and UL verification do the rest. It can be turned on high to cancel out noisy streets and low to give a sense of peace at a cafe or library.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are compatible with Android 7.0 version smartphones and tablets having more than 1.5GB of RAM.
The voice detection of the buds switches instantly from ANC to Ambient sounds which locate loud noises and it automatically turns off when one is speaking. When on a call, the AI works on its own to lower the volume of the music so one can focus more on the call on hand.
The ambient mode makes it possible for one to properly engage in a conversation without removing the buds. Someone doesn’t miss out on important parts of the discussion while putting away the buds or lowering the volume of the music.
Some of its newest additions are an air vent to prevent overheating of the device, and a 2-way speaker with a bigger driver for balanced sound waves and wide frequency response. It has a dual mic array for superior performance, an inner mic and high SNR mic to ensure that the speaker’s voice is heard clearly. The Buds 2 Pro also comes with a strong voice pickup unit & mic mesh chamber for minimizing wind noise.
The low protruding, sleek design minimizes contact with wind, while the sophistication of the windshield solution blocks the sound of wind and vents during calls for better clarity.
The Buds 2 Pro come with incredibly engaging 360 Audio and Dolby Head Tracking technology so one can immerse themselves in the music or podcasts. Samsung pays special attention to details and clarity of audio for better user interaction.
The smart Buds 2 Pro have the capability of “auto switch” as it instantly shifts from one device to another as per need. If one is watching a movie on their tablet and get a call on their phone, the buds immediately switch devices to cater to the call. It simultaneously switches to an appropriate audio volume to ensure clarity in both the call and later the said movie.
Assistant is a great way to increase efficiency. One can call upon Samsung’s personal assistant just by saying “Hi Bixby”. One has the ability to switch between devices just by saying its name. This same method can be used to control ANC and Ambient modes.
Tracking down Buds 2 Pro is not a chore. Opening their SmartThings app, the buds emit a beep by which they can be effectively located. When offline, the buds can be located by their last viewable location on the app, even if they are not connected to the device.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro have a ‘friends sharing’ option where one can pair with another set of Samsung Galaxy buds and enjoy music/podcasts from a single device, or enjoy the same playlist with pro-grade audio quality.
The Buds 2 Pro comes with 5 hours of playtime with 13 more hours in a fully charged case, which results in 18 hours of playtime.
If ANC is switched off, the buds get 8 hours of playtime along with 20 more hours in the case.
