Nothing firm launched Nothing OS 2.5 Open Beta 2 for Phone (2) users about a week ago. The closed beta of Nothing OS 2.5 for Nothing Phoine (1) was then announced. In the Open Beta 2 announcement footage, the business also showed off three new widgets for its devices, which will be available in December.
The pedometer widget allows the user to set and track their daily step target, which ranges from 0% to 100%. With its progress visualisation, it will not only track steps but also provide a fun aspect. Users may swipe up on the widget to see the average weekly or monthly step counts.
Widget for Media Player
Interaction with podcasts and music will be displayed in the media player widget. Users may play or stop media by tapping on the widget. Swiping vertically displays audio information, while swiping horizontally allows the user to skip ahead or backwards through the songs.
Widget for Screen Time
The screen time widget is designed to track the amount of time spent on the user’s home screen. A cartoon figure appears to indicate whether the user has reached their daily screen time restriction. Additionally, users may get more comprehensive screen time information by swiping vertically.
These three new widgets will be introduced to the Nothing Phone (1) and Phone (2) via an update from the Nothing Widgets app or via the Nothing OS 2.5 upgrade. Let’s observe how the corporation distributes them to all users.
