The all in one podcasting platform- Spotify for Podcasters- introduced a new feature recently called ‘Comments’.

This interactive feature will allow listeners to post comments on the podcast and receive replies from podcasters. This will enable a more enhanced and immersive experience. Besides the new feature the app has also been revamped. Now it delivers real time performance updates for podcasts along with notifications when a particular podcast lands on a Spotify chart. These new features has come across a month after the music streaming platform increased the prices for its subscription plans in the US for the second time in 12 months.
In a blog post, Spotify announced the feature saying, “We’re thrilled to announce the completely revamped Spotify for Podcasters mobile app, with exciting new features and updates. Easily track key stats, get notified when you’re added to Spotify charts, and manage, like, and reply to comments—a brand new way to interact with your fans on Spotify. Our app also now supports all podcasts, which means every creator has access to powerful tools, no matter where their show is hosted. The Comments tab will allow the users to approve, like and reply to comments that are ready for review; see published comments sorted by the most recent episode; delete and report comments and block users and Enable or disable comments for your entire show or specific episodes.
