Sony launched its Cyber-shot HX99 camera which includes 24-720mmi zoom range into the world’s smallest camera body.
The new Sony HX99 model DSC-HX99 camera has 7.82 Exmor R CMOS sensor with an estimated 18.2 MP. The HX99 includes ZEISS Vario-Sonmar T* Lens with 11 elements in 10 groups and 28 times optical zoom. The camera maximum apertures have F3.5 and focal length 4.25 up to 118mm. The screen display has 7.5cm with an aspect ratio of 4:3. It is the first in the HX Series that can record a high quality 4K video. The other 3 inch screen has a 180 degree tilt capability. The device has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection for sharing images and videos on the user’s phone which runs with Android 5.0 and above or iPhone 4S and above, and iPad 3rd Gen and above.
The HX99 is now available for pre-orders and the company confirmed that they will start it in early November. The starting price is $499.99 USD and $599.99 CAD.
