Sony Bravia High-End to Low-Range LCD, LED, HD & Plasma TV – Part III

Sony has a wide range of Tv, some for regular folks and some for people who can and are willing to splurge. HD & Plasma TVs are one such range of Sony Bravia TThe massive range of Sony Bravia varied features makes it easy to provide good budgeted TV, as if the model was tailored to the TV can start out at Rs 55,000/- and can go up to a lakh or maybe even more. 

 

But first, let us talk about why PLasma HD TVs are so sought after and are so expensive. An insight into these few points might help to understand and help you in buying a good deal for said TV. 

 

HDTV is providing of much higher resolution than another normal tv. The three main key points of an HDTV are – frame size in pixel (eg: 1280p, 750p, 1920p, 1080p), Scanning System (p for progressive system and i for an interlaced system) and Fame rate (no of frames viewed per second). 

 

The biggest and most appreciated feature of a Plasma TV is its enormous screen size and how thin it is when compared to conventional sets. Plasma TV is built from small components of an ionized gas named Plasma, which is responsive to electric fields. (LX n HX series )

This range of HDR TV comes with a screen size of 42” up to 63”. It has LED display screen with 4K resolution, and a refresh rate of 60Hz. It supports all streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube, Hulu and more. It also can be connected with bluetooth and has Dolby Audio. 

 

This beautiful TV Upscales the picture quality providing with beautiful and prominent colours, & Its dynamic colour enhancement increases light colours, and makes the picture quality much more vibrant. Micro dimmings helps in enhancement of picture quality by dimming parts of the image so the blank and white looks more prominent. 

 

A few cons of this TV are taking a good few seconds to turn on, and can seem a little laggy. Some reviews state that the picture quality becomes a little blurry during heavy action scenes.   This set retails for an estimated price of Rs 1,00,000 (for 63” screen) and Rs 50,000/- (for the 42” screen). This is definitely one of the cheeper versions of HDR TV in the market. 

 

KD 43 – X 75 :

This TV has a screen size of 43”, with a 4K resolution and 4K UHD display technology, with a refresh rate of 60Hz. It supports streaming networks like Amazon Prime, Netflix, Eros Now, Hulu, Youtube, Hotstar, etc. This android TV with live picture has a 4K graming processor, and Dolby audio with Google Assistant and Alexa compatibility. 

 

It comes with 3 HDMI ports for Set top box, Blue ray players & gaming consoles and 2 USB ports. The narrow design of the TV provides with redefined look which blends in perfectly with contemporary decore. 

Cons entail the unavailability of air mouse, and it has no bass effect in order to enhance sound quality. This TV retails for an estimated price of Rs 73,000/-. This same model comes with a 50” screen size retailing at Rs 85,000/-. 

 

X 80J :

This set with 4K resolution, comes with a screen size of 50”, and has display technology of 4K UHD and a refresh rate of 60Hz. This Tv has X balanced speakers, Dolby Atmos and Bass Reflective speakers. Its AMbient Optimization feature helps it diminish or increase colour display resolution and brightness based on the environment. 

 

It comes with smart TV features like connection to Google TV, Google Play, voice search, Netflix amazon prime and other streaming devices. It’s also a great device for gaming, Apple Gaming & Alexa. 

 

A few of its cons entail – It provides an unflattering glare on the screen when kept in a darker room. It provides 16GB storage in the States but the same model has storage of 4GB in India. This TV retails for an estimated price of 1 lakh. 

 

X 74K :

This is a TV with a screen size of 50”(the model is available for 43” and 65”) with an X1 4K resolution and LED display technology. It comes with google voice activation, and streaming sites like Netflix and Amazon Prime, Apple Airplay and Alexa compatibility. The powerful processor provides a noise-free experience. 

 

It delivers incredible low-end audio which is perfect for movies. It also comes with parental controls, enabling a fixed bedtime feature and monitoring of child activity with a parental link. 

 

This is one of the most highly praised Sony Bravia TV in 2022 and users have had little to complaints as of yet. This set retails for an estimated price of 1 lakhs. 

 

Sony Bravia has been around for decades now and their TV’s newest features never seem to wow and satisfy us with a few minor hiccups along the way.
