According to The Verge, Sonos told them that the company is planning to release the next generation of its smart speaker.
The upcoming Sonos One smart speaker will have a Bluetooth Low Energy, which is the latest processor. The upgraded version of the Sonos One will also include more memory storage that the original version. The design and sound performance are the same as the old version, but it will have new special features. The company has not yet confirmed the chipset that will be used for the upcoming smart speaker. The Sonos One second generation is expected to have Google Assistant.
Sonos has not yet announced the specs of the Sonos One next generation but the price will start at $199, which has higher than the original version that is on sale for $179. The new version is now available.
