Sling revealed its new features that will offer upgraded UI features and help Apple TV users to find content or shows they want.
According to the announcement of Jimshade Chaudhari, Sling TV’s Vice President of Product Management, the updated features will give a more content-centric experience, which will let users to control their favorites and search more information about shows before they click to watch. The updated guide feature Is now showing more images at the top of the screen and description about a specific show. The ribbon management will help users to manage their favorite channels, see all recordings, and edit the content in the continue watching ribbon by selecting the orange icon. The carousel feature has an ability to loop back to the beginning if the user reaches the end. The selection color feature has a blue border around the current selection that will help users to identify where they are in a ribbon. Users will now have a control if they want to rewind or fast forward the show because of the remote capabilities.
The new features are now exclusively available on Apple TV. The company confirmed that the update will launch on additional Sling TV-supported devices in the future.
