Sennheiser has launched its new Sennheiser IE 600 in-ear flagship earphones in India. With the addition of this latest member, Sennheiser has expanded its premium line-up of earphones. The new in-air flagship earbuds are made with an “exquisitely authentic sound” in mind and are targeted at purists and audiophiles. According to Sennheiser, the earphones have a TrueResponse transducer, 7mm drivers, and an improved acoustic system that produces a bass-driven sound. Sennheiser hasn’t played around a lot with the IE 600’s design. The new Sennheiser IE 600 are similar to the IE 300 which was released over a year ago.
Commenting about the new launch, Kapil Gulati, Director- Consumer Segment, Sennheiser, said, “At the audiophile development team, we intend to listen to the feedback of our incredibly passionate customers. The IE 600 delivers a neutral reference tuning in combination with our industry-leading miniature transducer technology. The paradigm-shifting acoustic performance is appropriately clad in highest-performance amorphous zirconium. The IE 600 will be a reference for the most demanding mobile audio enthusiasts.”
Specifications and Features:
The IE 600’s housings, according to the firm, were made from ZR01 amorphous zirconium using an unique 3D printing technology. In case you are wondering what that is, amorphous zirconium is a metal with a glass-like atomic structure. Sennheiser claims that by employing ZR01 amorphous zirconium the earphone gains three times the toughness and bend resistance of high-performance steel. Besides being used for ultra flagship products such as the Sennheiser IE 600, ZR01 amorphous zirconium is used in the drilling head of the aerospace industry in NASA.
Along with a strong outer build, the earphones can even survive extreme conditions. It is also claimed to be resistant against corrosion and scratches and can be used for many years to come.
The IE 600 has in-built 7mm drivers, which contribute to their exceptionally wide frequency range and extremely low distortion. The earphones are quite small in size. Big sound has been crammed into a compact, ergonomic package by the business. Two cables in the diameters of 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm are included with the IE 600. Additionally, the IE 600 comes with silicone and memory foam earphone tips in two different sizes. It will provide a secure seal in any ear, and the adjustable, flexible ear hooks add to the long-lasting comfort for prolonged listening periods.

The Sennheiser IE 600 is available for purchase at Rs.59,990 at Sennheiser’s official website and other audio retail outlets.
