Samsung plans to release its upcoming first foldable smartphone together with the new model of the Galaxy series with 5th Generation (5G) network.
The Samsung’s first foldable smartphone is expected to release by next year after the unveiling of the new flagship Galaxy 10 smartphone and the new model that runs with 5G. According to the report of Yonhap News, a news agency in Korea, Samsung is expected to introduce the foldable phone with its full specs, price, and release date in the Mobile World Congress in Febuary 2019. The phone is not expected to have a 5G network support.
The release date of the smartphone is expected in March 2019. The price of the first foldable is expected around $1,770. Yonhap added “The steep price is expected to limit sales.”
