Samsung has just launched this year’s QLED 4K TVs at a New York event a few hours ago, with minor adjustments but major additions. Aside from enhanced picture quality, the sets will come with the smart assistant Bixby. This, when connected with SmartThings and its compatible gadgets lets your TV be the center and main control platform of your smart home. All sets will also have an “Ambient Mode” where you take a photo of the wall the TV is attached and mimics it to match.
The range includes the Q9, Q8, Q7, and Q6 with Q9 bearing the highest price and image quality and Q6 the lowest. The sizes offered for each version was also revealed, with the Q9 in 75” and 65”, both the Q8 and Q7 in 75”, 65”, and 55” and the Q6 in 82”, 75”, 65”, 55”, and 49”. All versions will be sold in flat and curved screens. Samsung also announced that the sets will be available this month.
