Last month, we saw a set of unofficial mockups of what the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 could look like, but now we have leaked photographs of what appears to be the genuine gadget posted by YouTuber TechTalkTV (via 9to5Google). The images are consistent with previous renders and provide a closer look at the device’s display crease, which appears to be nearly non-existent. When the gadget is flipped open, you can notice a small glare where the crease would normally occur in one of the images. It doesn’t appear to be obvious, but it’s difficult to predict how the crease will appear when viewed from only one angle.

When you tilt the phone the right way, you can see the crease on the Galaxy Z Flip 3. “It’s not a problem in typical use,” according to The Source’s deputy editor Dan Seifert, and it’s simple to forget about once you become acclimated to the phone. Samsung is said to be improving the crease in its forthcoming phone, but we’ll have to wait till we get our hands on one to see how noticeable it truly is.

The leaked photographs of the alleged Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 reveal a smartphone that looks much like its predecessor, with a two-tone color scheme, dual cameras, and a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera, just like the mockups. While the hinge looks to be narrower, when the device is folded completely, there is still a small gap between the two sides. The smartphone is expected to include the same 12-megapixel primary and ultrawide cameras, as well as a 10-megapixel selfie camera, according to TechTalkTV’s source, which is a bit disappointing if true – one of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3’s biggest flaws was its camera quality. According to the insider, the forthcoming tablet would have a larger 3700mAh battery and a faster 25W charging port.
