At the IFA 2018, Samsung showed it first 8K TV with four ultra-large screen sizes which are 65 inch, 75 inch, 82 inch, and 85 inch.
Samsung’s QLED 8K TV with 8K AI Upscaling has features such as Real 8K Resolution capable of 4,000 nits peak brightness which is a standard quality of a film studio. The QLED 8K TV produces four times more pixels than a 4K UHD TV and 16 times more pixel than a full HD TV. The new TV is supported by High Dynamic Range (HDR) 10+ technology which controls the TV brightness level and clean colors and images. The device can read a streaming service, set-top box, HDMI, USB, and mobile mirroring. It has Quantum Processor 8K that accepts the content to appear in 8K quality. It also includes Direct Full Array Elite to increase contrast and accuracy of backlighting control, and 100% Control Volume.
The new Samsung QLED TV will be available by the end of September. The company has not yet release the price of the device.
