Following rumors of a possible launch of a cheaper MacBook Air this year, a new report from DigiTimes claims that Apple will also be unveiling a lower-cost MacBook.
The price range of the new MacBook could be between $799 and $899. Despite the report saying the device will be a MacBook, others suspect it to be a Macbook Air with the reported 13.3” display being closer in size to a traditional 12” MacBook Air. The new model will also have Retina Display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600, similar to the MacBook Pro. LG Display will supply the panels and the rumored MacBook is set to come out this June.
Reports of Apple releasing over-ear, noise-cancelling headphones under their own brand have also come out earlier this month, possibly pricier than the Airpods and is rumored to release later this year.
