Qualcomm revealed its upcoming chipset with an outstanding gaming, a leap in artificial intelligence (AI) capability, and a cutting-edge camera.
The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform has a new architectures and performance improvements than the latest Snapdragon 670. For gaming, the new snapdragon offers a high frame-rate, smooth and level-up gaming experience to the 600 tier. With the help of AI, the camera can capture high quality of images and videos for both day and night, and in slow-motion. The features will include telephoto, wide angle, super wide image capture, 3D face unlock, and epic selfies. The Snapdragon 675 will have DSP security which is for the superior protection when unlocking a device through face recognition, Snapdragon X12 modem that supports downlink speeds up to 600Mbps and times 3 carrier aggregation, Qualcomm Quick Charge, and Aqstic and apt for audio technologies.
The upgraded chipset is now available and devices in Q1 2019 are expected to have it.
