The Poco F6 5G will make its debut later this month in India. The business has revealed the phone’s release date and given a sneak peek at its appearance. The availability of the forthcoming phone’s specifications has also been verified by Poco. Important phone specs have previously been the subject of rumors. It is suspected to be a rebranded Redmi Turbo 3, which made its debut in China in April of this year. It is anticipated that the Poco F6 5G and the Redmi variant would have similar designs and specs.
Poco India has declared that on May 23 at 4:30 p.m. IST, the Poco F6 5G will go on sale in India. The company’s social media account released a teaser with the slogan “God Mode On,” hinting at the future smartphone. The teaser also shows the handset’s rear panel, which displays the camera modules’ configuration.
Two cameras are situated within distinct, circular modules that are raised slightly, and a flash unit that resembles a ring is present on the Poco F6 5G. The Redmi Turbo 3 and Poco F6 5G share a similar design for their rear camera system configuration. The teaser even features a color that is similar to the Redmi model’s Ice Titanium option. In China, the Redmi Turbo 3 was introduced with a base 12GB + 256GB model for CNY 1,999, or around Rs. 23,000. There are three further varieties available: 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB.
The Poco F6 5G is expected to launch in India. It has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, a 6.7-inch 120Hz 1.5K OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, a 20-megapixel front camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 90W rapid charging. It was recently seen on Geekbench running Android 14 with 12GB of RAM.
