The OnePlus 12 is one of a number of flagship Android phones set to be introduced at the end of this year. However, despite its purported reveal date being several months away, it has been widely leaked.
OnePlus intends to launch the OnePlus 12 internationally in January 2024, according to regular leaker Max Jambor, who also claims to be the person who supplied the claimed Chinese launch information. This would put the event a month later than the local event, which is expected to take place in December of this year.
The worldwide launch usually precedes the handset’s availability, thus the OnePlus 12 is expected to enter retailers on the same day as the announcement. In terms of features, the OnePlus 12 is expected to include significant hardware upgrades. The triple rear camera is believed to have a periscope camera while still bearing the Hasselblad logo. The smartphone will be powered by a more powerful and efficient Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage.
Simultaneously, battery capacity is expected to grow from 5000 mAh to 5400 mAh. The charging speed is rated at 100 watts wired and 50 watts wireless. The OnePlus 12 will be powered by Android 14 with Oxygen OS 14 on topping.
