NVIDIA revealed its smallest Jetson device that will give the “power of modern AI to millions of devices” and discover worlds of embedded IoT applications.
The new NVIDIA Jetson Nano has a 69.6 mm x 45 mm with 260-pin edge connector. The Jetson Nano is supported with NVIDIA Maxwell architecture and 128 NVIDIA CUDA core. The new pocket-sized device runs with Quad-core ARM Cortex –A57 MPCore processor. The storage has 4GB of RAM with 64-bit LPDDR4 and 16GB of ROM with 5.1 flash. It also enables the improvement of low-power AI systems and IoT applications that include “entry-level Network Video Recorders (NVRs), home robots, and intelligent gateways with full analytics capabilities.” The new device offers 472 GFLOPs for operating modern AI algorithms fast. The video encode has 4K @ 30 and video decode has 4K @ 60.
The NVIDIA Jetson Nano is now available for pre-order and will launch in June globally. The price will start at $99.
