Nothing will launch its debut smartphone on July 12th. Nothing by Carl Pei is ready to launch its first smartphone, the Nothing Phone (1), in less than two weeks. Prior to launch, the company teased the design and features of the Phone and now the company has confirmed that the Nothing Phone (1) will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset. The brand founder Carl Pei told Input Mag that Nothing Phone 1 is equipped with a lower spec chip as he believes it offers a better combination of price, performance, heat output and power consumption. Neither chose the Snapdragon 778 Plus as it supports wireless charging and reverses wireless charging.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus is equipped with a slightly higher CPU clock speed than the previous Snapdragon 778G. Nothing’s Phone 1 is ready to launch on July 12th. The smartphone comes in a semi-transparent design, with Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset. The smartphone design has been teased multiple times and will come with bright LED light strips on the back panel that will glow for notifications, charging and more. Nothing calls it “GLYPH interface”. The company has confirmed that Nothing Phone 1 will not be launched in the US. In terms of specs, the phone will come with a dual-camera setup, a 6.55-inch 120Hz display, a 4,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and a Rumored Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus paired with 8GB of RAM.

The brand will give this smartphone a clean Android 12 experience built on Nothing UI Launcher. The camera details are currently unknown, but considering these features, the Nothing Phone (1) is expected to cost around 30,000 rupees in the market. The company assembles the device internally, which contributes to a more competitive price.
