The London-based tech startup Nothing teased its upcoming products, the Nothing Phone (3) and NothingOS 3.0. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the company’s co-founder and CEO confirmed that the Nothing Phone (3) will not be launched until next year.
The company’s co-founder, Ekas, emphasized that they are focusing on integrating AI into NothingOS to enhance user experience. The new AI-powered home screen will summarize everything users need to know from their apps. For example, it can show flight tickets, important messages, relevant content, and more. This feature is being called “Dynamic and Context-Aware.”
Nothing aims to make NothingOS more than just a typical phone launcher. They are introducing personalized AI assistants that can perform tasks like planning a family trip or simply being a conversational companion. This feature seems similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT voice conversations. Ekas stated, “This is early exploration – one concept among many. We will take the time needed to make it right.”
Nothing has not provided a specific timeline for these AI features. However, they confirmed that these features will be available with the Nothing Phone (3) next year. There are also plans to launch new color variants of the Phone (2a).
The Nothing Phone (3) is confirmed for next year, but the company has teased other products that might arrive soon. These include products from CMF, Nothing’s spin-off brand, such as the CMF Phone (1), CMF Buds 2 Pro, and a CMF Watch.
