Mozilla created a number of logos which has two design system approaches that the company wants to request for the feedback of users.
Yesterday, Mozilla shared the two design system which includes 24 new icons for the logo of the app. In the blog post, it explained how users can participate in choosing the upcoming logo. It will have choices between the System 1 and System 2 Firefox Masterbrand icon, General-purpose browser icons, Singularly-focused browser icons, and Icons for new apps and services. According to the announcement, the company is not crowdsourcing the answer, it will be no voting system, and “no one is being asked to design everything for free.” Users must comment on the blog post what they want, whether Design System 1 or Design System 2. The given icons are not final because it will undergo a number of processing before the product launches.
The company has not yet confirmed the release date of the upcoming icons. They are still working for the improvement of the system.
