Motorola says it has been tested to over 600,000 foldings in normal conditions and 100,000 folds at extreme temperatures. It has an IPX8 water resistance rating, which allows it to be submerged in 1.5 meters of liquid for 30 minutes.
Motorola’s design is clean and functional in terms of ports and button placement. When closed, the power button is on the right-hand side of the device. The volume rocker sits just above the power switch, preserving a familiar layout. On the left, the SIM tray, while on the bottom you’ll find the Type C port and speaker outlet.

The Razr 50 Ultra is powered by Android 14 and Motorola’s Hello UI. Motorola guarantees three years of OS upgrades and four years’ worth of security patches to ensure the longevity of the device. Google’s Gemini AI is integrated into the software to enhance it further.
Processor and Performance
The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. This octa core SoC, built on a 4-nanometer process, offers a balance between performance and energy efficiency. The SoC is paired with 512GB UFS 4.0 and 12GB LPDDR5X.
Adreno 735 is the GPU of the chipset, and it provides excellent graphics performance on mobile devices. The 165Hz display refresh rate enhances the gaming experience of the Razr 50 Ultra, providing smooth visuals with responsive touch input.
