Motorola Edge 50 is the slimmest smartphone in the world, certified to MIL-STD-810H and IP68.
It features a 6.7″ 1.5K Super HD Curved pOLED Display with 1,600 nits of peak brightness. The display has a 120 Hz refresh and HDR10+ support. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects the display.
Motorola Edge 50 is only available in 256 GB and 8 GB versions. There is also a virtual RAM option up to 8 GB.
The device runs on Android 14 and Hello UI, with 2 OS updates and 3 years of security upgrades.
Motorola has included a charger of 68 W and a battery of 5,000mAh in the box. It’s also compatible with 15 W wireless chargers.
The model is equipped with a 50 MP Sony Lytia 700C main camera sensor. It also has a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical or 30x hybrid Zoom, as well as a 13MP ultrawide camera that features macro vision and a focal length of 3 cm. It has a selfie camera with 32 MP on the front.
Moto ai offers generative AI capabilities such as generative themes, magic canvass with text and image prompting.
Stereo speakers with Dolby atmos are also included.
The device is available in three Pantone color variants, Jungle Green, Peach fuzz and Koala grey in vegan suede finishes.
Flipkart Motorola and other leading retailers including Reliance Digital will begin selling the device on August 8 at a price of Rs 27,999.
