Microsoft is rolling out a new Windows 10 app, revealed at its Build developer conference yesterday. The app, named “Your Phone”, mirrors content from your phone to your Windows desktop, granting you access to notifications, photos, and texts and lets you send and receive them.
The app’s features may differ depending on your OS (they’ll likely have more on Android units). The Windows Insider program will start testing the Your Phone app this week, and feedback will dictate whether or not the app is ready to release to the public. If it works well, it may be hit with PC users given its convenience of not having to switch between devices when accessing important content.
Microsoft will discuss the app further in their Build keynote today and possibly tomorrow.
