Microsoft removes ads from Skype
It was revealed by Microsoft that several changes in terms of features and design are about to roll out on Skype with version 8.125.76.201. in a block post published on Monday, Microsoft stated, “We’re excited to announce that Skype is now ad-free! Our latest update removes all ads from Skype channels and the entire Skype platform, ensuring a smoother, decluttered and more enjoyable user experience.Thank you for your continued support as we strive to make Skype the best communication tool for everyone. Enjoy an ad-free experience and keep the conversations flowing!”. The ads being removed from all Skype channels across platforms has led to the app offering a more user friendly experience. Thanks to the new update that users will now be able to focus on their conversations without any ad distractions.
Revamped AI image creation in Skype
In addition to removing ads from Skype channels across all platforms, Microsoft stated,”We’re excited to bring you a revamped AI image creation experience on Skype Desktop! Create stunning images right within your chat window with enhanced features and design tweaks. Get creative and enjoy a seamless experience with our updated AI image creation tools!”. Using this feature users can now create AI images from within the chat window or the top navigation bar. This option can also be found next to the forward option in the message context menu. Through these features, users will get to access Skype in a more convenient manner.
