The ThinkPad P15v Gen 3 and ThinkPad P14s Gen 3 are two new mobile workstations from Lenovo that will be available soon. They are powered by AMD Ryzen processors. The AMD-powered laptops are available alongside the identical Intel models. However, they are obviously available for users who like AMD Ryzen processors.

Features of Lenovo ThinkPad P15v

The larger of the two variants, the Lenovo ThinkPad P15v, includes AMD Ryzen Pro 6000 H-series CPUs, which can be either a Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7, as well as up to an Nvidia RTX A2000 professional GPU for applications that call for higher graphics processing power. This workstation is quite capable in every way. Additionally, users may add up to 64GB of RAM and a 4TB SSD for storage.

The display is available in a 16:9 aspect ratio with either Full HD or Ultra HD resolution. X-Rite colour calibration, up to 600 nits of brightness, and compatibility for DisplayHDR 400 are also included in the Ultra HD configuration option. The fact that it fully supports Adobe RGB makes it the best option for creatives handling color-sensitive tasks.

Features of Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 3

For the ThinkPad P14s Gen 3, which it describes as its most mobile workstation, Lenovo withheld a complete spec sheet. The ThinkPad P16s largely shares characteristics with this model, which has AMD Ryzen Pro 6000 U-series processors, according to Lenovo. These integrated GPUs are most likely the strongest ones available right now. Therefore, you can still anticipate strong performance.

The screen will probably be a 14-inch panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio, just like the ThinkPad P14s powered by Intel. Although upgrade options, such as an Ultra HD+ model, may be available if it matches the Intel variant, the base model should have Full HD+ resolution. This would have 100% coverage of DCI-P3 and X-Rite colour calibration, just like the P15v.
