The latest version of Android Messages 3.5 launched the new Material Theme Design which has a new appearance that users want.
The new Material Theme Design contains an option if a user wants to have Dark Mode Theme in their app. The new theme has a black background and dark texts. The update has a new font and a new icon which is the “Start Chat” button located at the bottom right corner of the screen that includes a message logo before the text which changed the old “+” sign that can add a message. The new version does not include the edit contacts colors anymore which are located in the “People & options” while the icon of the contact has now a gray background message bubble. The option button has archived messages, blocked contacts, messages for web, disable dark mode, settings, and help & feedback.
The updated version started rolling out and it can be downloaded through Google Play Store.
