Infinix has launched a new 260W All-Round FastCharge charging system and a 110W Wireless All-round FastCharge solution, making it the fastest smartphone charger in the global market.
The Infinix 260W wired recharging solution can charge a battery from zero to twenty-five percent in one minute and from zero to one hundred percent in eight minutes. A single 12C battery with a 4-pump embedded platform that can determine how much power is needed and distribute the right amount of charge pumps makes up the technological advancement. A 4,400 mAh battery used in the test had a charging efficiency of 98.5 percent, and after 1,000 cycles, it still had 90 percent of its initial capacity. The chargers promise to wirelessly charge a gadget from 0% to 100% in 16 minutes.
The charging technology uses an adaptor that uses both GaN material and AHB circuit infrastructure to attain maximum power density and minimal size. According to Infinix, the cable has also been modified to support up to 13A of current for lightning-fast 260W charging.
Infinix’s 110W wireless charging alternative uses custom-made, small, sensitive coils with varying configurations to reduce heat produced by the phone while charging. This solution facilitates reverse charging, bypass charging, and multi-protocol charging, as well as supports protocols such as Power Delivery 3.0.
Realme recently launched its GT Neo 5 and GT 3 models with 240W Fast Charging support, making them one of the forerunners of the fastest-charging smartphones. Redmi, a large smartphone manufacturer, is testing a 300W charger that can fully charge a 4,100mAh battery-supported device in five minutes, adding to the competition for faster-charging devices.
