Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 15 series in September 2023. The new lineup is rumored to include three models: the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Design
The iPhone 15 series is expected to have a similar design to the iPhone 14 series. However, there are some key differences that have been rumored. For example, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are rumored to have a pill-shaped cutout for the front-facing camera and Face ID sensors, replacing the notch.
Rear cameras
The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are rumored to have a new 48-megapixel main camera, along with a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are rumored to have the same rear camera system as the iPhone 14 series.
Processor
The iPhone 15 series is expected to be powered by the A16 Bionic chip, which is rumored to be manufactured using a 4nm process. This would be a significant improvement over the A15 Bionic chip, which is manufactured using a 5nm process.
Price
The iPhone 15 series is rumored to start at the same prices as the iPhone 14 series. This means that the iPhone 15 could start at $799, the iPhone 15 Plus could start at $899, and the iPhone 15 Pro could start at $999.
Release date
The iPhone 15 series is rumored to be released in September 2023. This would be in line with Apple’s usual release schedule for new iPhones.
In addition to the above, there are a few other rumored features for the iPhone 15 series. These include:
- A new charging port, possibly USB-C
- A new fingerprint sensor, possibly under the display
