iPhone 15 Pro – Renditions & Rumours

To start off with a few of the most highlighted features of the iPhone 15 are -is expected to have a significant design overhaul, the handset 15 is believed to have Dynamic Island & A USB C port is expected to make it into the next generation iPhone.

The iPhone 15 is expected to get a significant design overhaul, with reports indicating that it will be the biggest upgrade since the iPhone X, which was released in 2017. Apple released the iPhone 14 with essentially no improvements from the iPhone 13, both in terms of design and features. Following this, many fans and reviewers aired dissatisfaction on social media channels. But, iPhones in 2023 are projected to have significant enhancements over past versions.

According to the sources, the iPhone 15 would include the Dynamic Island feature, which was seen on last year’s Pro models. Based on the renderings, the regular model would include a single punch-hole display design as well as hidden Face ID sensors.

Apple is expected to launch four iPhone models with its iPhone 15 series. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is expected to change its naming strategy yet again, as it launches its iPhone 15 Pro Max as the iPhone 15 Ultra. However, it has come to our attention that this change of name won’t come to light until next year. This leads us to believe that the ‘ultra’ tag might only come with the iPhone 16. 

When talking about the design, not much is known. It’s said that iPhone 15 Pro models could have a curved screen. It’s said that the front would remain flat but the side bezels would be a lot slimmer as they would be contained within the curve, pretty much like the display of the Apple watch Ultra. They are also expected to receive titanium frames which will include haptic volume buttons over the ordinary stainless steel ones. This upcoming handset is said to be available in a dark red colour as per the 9-5 mac pro report. 

Coming to specifications – the iPhone 15 pro max is expected to be unveiled with a brand new A17 bionic chipset which might be based on the blueprint of 3nm process technology. Ming-Chi Kuo, an Apple analyst recently revealed that as existed everyone is for the A17 bionic chipset – it will only be available to iPhone 15 pro and iPhone 15 pro max. 

These handsets also include a ‘zoom camera’ which is a huge upgrade from its recent setting. Current reports have spiked the rumours of Apple looking to change out their current suppliers Japan Alps and Mitsumi. The rumour mill suggests that Apple might join hands with LG Innotek & Jahwa, both of which are known to supply periscopic lenses made for smartphones. 

Another substantial shift in the iPhone is the usage of a USB C port rather than a Lighting port. Because of a new European policy that requires Apple to implement this on all subsequent smartphones, the iPhone 15 series will most likely be the first batch of iPhones to lose Apple’s exclusive Lightning port. This will allow individuals to carry only one charger for multiple devices.

The iPhone 15 pro max is expected to feature a Samsung-manufactured M13 display panel which is known for its peak brightness of up to 2500nits. This feature puts it massively in a different league among the legion of smartphones. According to Trend Force, a Taiwanese research firm, the iPhone 15 models may be upgraded to 2GB of RAM from their current capacity of 6 GB. The claims also mention that these iPhones might only be equipped with WiFi 6E. 

As for pricing, Apple is inclined to hike the price of its iPhone 15 Pro models by as much as $200. As per Forbes, Apple can hike its flagship product’s price to as much as $1299—a $2000 increase on the iPhone 14 Pro Max. This might just be the biggest jump in price in the history of Apple. If the 1TB model gets launched, prices are expected to rise up to as much as $1799. The minimum storage received by this flagship handset would be 256GB, as estimated by Leaks Apple Pro.
