Apple introduces several innovative features for AirPods Pro including gesture- based interactions and voice isolation features which will allow users to shake their heads to respond to Siri with a yes or a no.
AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) gets new features
The Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024 keynote session on Monday witnessed how the tech giant introduced several new improvements for its AirPods lineup. The company has added several new features that will allow users to use features in order to interact with Siri. As of now, these features are available for the members of the Apple Developer Programme in developer beta.
Features that are to be incorporated
During the keynote session of the Worldwide Developers Conference 2024, Apple introduced some major advancements. Launched in September 2023, the AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) is now all set to get brand new features powered by the Apple Silicon.
The new features are going to be based on features, that is, they will allow the users to respond to the virtual assistant, Siri, without having to interact verbally or through tap- based feedback. AirPods Pro users will be able to experience this feature and use it to say yes or no to the announcements of Siri. This feature would be really helpful during situations when the user is in an area that is too crowded or in a quiet area where they might not want to speak loudly.
Besides, users will also be able to make use of Siri interactions, enabled by the H2 chipset, and perform tasks such as interacting with messages, managing phone calls and notifications and more -all through gestures.
