Google Cloud launched its image vulnerabilities beta version that might be changed in some ways and confirmed that it is not subject to any SLA or deprecation policy.
Container Analysis is the one who gives the vulnerable content for the container images in Container Registry. The beta version is not intended for real-time operation in evaluating applications. Before users begin, they should enable the Container Analysis API but they can only access it if their email address is whitelisted for using the API and the Vulnerability Scanning. The Vulnerability Scanning will automatically enable when the Container Analysis API is being allowed, but some users will have to click the button after the first feature.
With the use of GCP console, gcloud, command-line tool, or the Container Analysis API, users can view vulnerability occurrences for their photos in Container Registry.
The company has not yet announced the release date of the next version of the feature.
