The Google Play Store has introduced a new feature that allows Android users to download two apps simultaneously, making the app downloading experience faster and more efficient. Previously, users had to wait for one app to finish installing before starting another. With this new feature, when you install two apps, they will download concurrently, and you no longer have to wait for one app to finish before moving on to the next.

However, keep in mind that this simultaneous install feature currently supports only two apps at once. If you’re downloading more than that, the additional apps will sit in the queue as “pending” on your phone. It is possible that Google may increase the limit in the future, allowing users to choose how many downloads to run simultaneously.

Unfortunately, this multi-download feature does not cover app updates. The Play Store still allows only one update at a time, leaving the rest waiting for their turn. However, it is likely that Google may enable simultaneous updates in the future.

While the Google Play Store may not be as fast as Apple’s App Store (which can handle three downloads at once), this new simultaneous download feature is a significant leap forward from how things used to be. So go ahead and enjoy a more efficient app installation process!
