Google has started rolling out the new update for Google Maps which has new tabs for the users to decide easily where they want to go.
Google Maps’ new version has new options where users can choose Restaurants, Hotels, Bars, Coffee, and more options that include Banks, Parking lots, Post Offices, Gas stations, Groceries, and Hospitals nearby to the users. The new options will show the top ratings and its information. It also includes a caption “For You”, a user recently visits or matches the interests of a user and it has also a recommendation list of trending restaurants that allows user to follow neighborhoods and be updated for any newly opened establishments. The new option “Explore” will help users know the events around them.
The updated Google Maps is now available in both iOS and Android through Google Play Store and App Store. The “For you” option is only available in selected countries such as US, UK, Canada, Australia and Japan but the company assures the users that it will be available globally by this week.
