According to Axios, their source told them that Twitter requested to Facebook if user’s of both app can continue joint posting, but Facebook rejected it.
Twitter removed Facebook Platform because of the rejection including old tweets of users. Facebook is not yet giving information about the issue. According to the report, Facebook said “A Twitter admin requested their app be deleted, which resulted in content that people had cross-posted from Twitter to Facebook also being temporarily removed from people’s profiles,”. Facebook also added “However, we have since restored the past content and it’s now live on people’s profiles.”
A number of users both Facebook and Twitter are shocked because all of their posts were vanished on their timeline. TechCrunch said, “Facebook tells us while it doesn’t have further information about the problem at this time, it should have more to share tonight or tomorrow about what’s being done.
