Apple is expected to introduce the new Apple Pencil 3 at the upcoming Let Loose event on May 7. This will give the existing line up of iPad a refresh that has been expected by users.
Often known as one of the best stylus available in the market, the Apple pencil offers features such as tilt sensitivity, low latency and pixel perfect accuracy. The Cupertino-based tech giant will introduce the latest generation of iPads along with Apple Pencil 3 at the upcoming Let Loose event scheduled on May 7.
Apple Pencil 3 comes with several innovative features
The upcoming stylus is said to be upgraded with certain new features therefore, making it a better option than Samsung’s S Pen. According to reports by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg,the new Apple pencil 3 will reportedly offer haptic feedback. This will make the stylus feel more realistic than Samsung’s S Pen.
However the known Apple analyst did not share any further details about how the new feature of haptic feedback will be implemented . Therefore the haptic feedback may change depending on which tool you are using. It’s like the Pencil will feel rougher or heavier if you are using a crayon in comparison to when scribbling using a pen.
A report by 9to5Mac says that the code spotted in iPadOS suggests that Apple pencil 3 will have a new function called ” squeeze “. However it is to be noted that these are all based on reports and rumors, making it quite unclear.
Apple Pencil 3 will probably also offer a “contextual menu” that will let users to quickly perform actions such as adding stickers, text and shapes.
