Elon Musk receives major backlash after criticizing Twitter employees publicly

It has hardly been a day since Elon Musk took over Twitter. But it seems the tech entrepreneur is all ready to lash out and is showing no mercy.

YouTuber Saagar Enjeti shared a tweet recently about a story in Politico. The report states that India-born Vijaya Gadde, who is Twitter’s top lawyer, set up a virtual meeting soon after the deal between Musk and Twitter was finalized. The report further claims that Gadde has expressed her concerns and was even crying about how there might be changes in the company in terms of the policy and legal teams and what Musk’s leadership would look like.

For those who are unaware, Gadde was one of the principal executives who participated in removing Donald Trump from the platform. While sharing the story, Enjeti called out Gadde for gaslighting the world on Joe Rogan’s podcast and censoring the Hunter Biden laptop incident.

However, the situation took an unexpected turn when Musk himself decided to respond to Enjeti’s tweet. The Tesla owner tweeted that suspending the Twitter account of such a major news platform for revealing a true story was extremely inappropriate.

And soon after Musk’s followers posted a bunch of hateful tweets towards Gadde. But the blowout didn’t end there. Many felt that the way Musk openly criticised Gadde was wrong.

A user pointed out the fact that after Musk’s tweet, Gadde’s mentions are full of hateful tweets. The user further asked if this is the way how the chief engineer of SpaceX is planning to run the company. Continuing the thread, the user also mentioned how every Twitter employee must be looking at Musk’s post right now and thinking if they are next.

Another user mentioned that the business magnate has already violated a section of the agreement with Twitter after his tweet about Gadde.

However, Gadde wasn’t the only victim. Musk also singled out Jim Baker, who is Twitter’s Deputy General Counsel, and criticized his work in a tweet.
