WhatsApp users are now able to touch and hold two channels in order to pin them at the top of the list.
Users will be able to pin multiple WhatsApp Channels
According to a report by WABetaInfo, the Meta- owned instant messaging platform will soon allow users to pin up to two channels. One can see this happening with WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.13.3. Users will be able to touch and hold up to two channels in the list. After doing so, they will be able to pin them by tapping on the pin icon from the top bar. The feature tracker, WABetaInfo, shared the screenshot and that is from where we get to know about this.
According to a report, “The feature to pin up to two channels is currently available to select beta testers who have installed the latest WhatsApp beta update from the Google Play Store. Users are expecting that Google will roll this out to more users in the coming days. Currently, there is no option to pin favorite channels at the top of the window in the stable version of the messaging platform.”
WhatsApp has also introduced ‘Favorite’ chat filter
According to a report by WABetaInfo, the new feature has been spotted on WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.12.7. Users will be able to use this feature to separate their favorite charts using this new chat filter. This feature will be helpful for the ones who get a lot of messages from several people and struggle to find the ones who they contact regularly. Although the chat pinning feature is available on WhatsApp, the instant messaging platform allows only a maximum of three pinned chats after the update.
WhatsApp has saved four new filters- the All, Unread, and Groups filters were already added earlier. Now, one can easily spot the 4th filter in the ‘Favourites’ filter.
