Activision Blizzard announced at Call of Duty Direct that it would launch Call of Duty Black Ops 6 as well as giving us a sneak peek of what’s to come for one of the world’s most popular video games franchises. The upcoming game follows in the footsteps its predecessor and is set during the Cold War period. Activision claims that the “spy-action thriller” will combine stealth-based gaming with action in Russia, the Middle East and the United States.
COD Black Ops Campaign
The new Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War takes place after the Cold War in the year 2000 and is linked to the flashbacks of Black Ops 2
Call of Duty Black Ops 6, which will release on November 15, will include familiar characters like Frank Woods, Russell Adler and Jane Harrow, along with two new ones, Troy Marshall, and Jane Harrow. Activision has revealed that Woods and Marshall are going rogue, and they will have to create a new squad. This will feature new characters like Felix Neumann or Sevati Dumas.
Call of Duty Black Ops 6’s campaign missions will let you mix stealth and intense action. The storyline will change depending on your choices, from combat to conversation. This upcoming title also brings back old gadgets such as the Remote Controlled explosive device, Tranquilizer Trap and Homing Knife.
Call of Duty Black Ops Multiplayer
Call of Duty Black Ops 6’s multiplayer mode has also been given a lot of focus this time around. Some multiplayer-exclusive features have also made their way into Campaign and Zombie modes. Activision claims to be redefining the movement of the game, with players able now to sprint and slide in any direction. Developers have added a new prone-prone mode that allows players to rotate 360 degrees.
Activision will also add some new movement features, such as Intelligent Movement. This feature has three categories: Sprint Assist (also known as Mantle Assist), Crouch Assist (also known as Crouch Assist), and Mantle Assist. It aims to reduce the amount of buttons that you need to press in order to perform different movement combos.
Call of Duty Black Ops 6, which launches on November 15, will feature 16 new multiplayer maps, including 12 Core maps that are 6v6 and Strike Maps. These maps can be played either 2v2 or 6-v6.
Call of Duty Black Ops 6, Zombie Mode
In the upcoming Call of Duty, the Zombie Mode will be back. This mode allows you to shoot a series of zombies that are getting more difficult. Two new maps, Liberty Falls and Terminus, will be added to the much-anticipated zombie mode. These maps are in addition to the secrets that players have been using for over a decade.
